Freelance Graphic Designer since 2001?

Man, I've been doin' this a long time.

I work with clients all over the world — from gigantic megacorporations to tiny little startups — and I love 'em all. But you know which clients I love most? The ones who inspire me. Inspire me with their ambition, work ethic, ingenuity and courage. And when I join forces with people like this, it creates a positive feedback loop which results in both friendship and mutual success. My client relationships have gone on for years — decades, in most cases — and I just love that. Working with good people is the best.

And how lucky am I to be able to work within the profession of my choice? I mean, I was born to be creative, and it was pretty clear from the time I was old enough to hold a crayon I would grow up to pursue a career in the arts, but I honestly didn't know how satisfying it could be. How graphic design would combine all of my skills and abilities into one, and lead me into a career which is both lucrative and fun.

See, I started out at RISD in the Illustration Department, but quickly switched to Graphic Design upon discovering my love of typography and layout design. Additionally, reading and writing have always been passions of mine, and my writing skills developed from childhood right alongside my artistic inclinations. So, to earn a little extra scratch, I worked at the RISD Writing Center (now called the RISD Center for Arts & Language) as a writing tutor for my fellow students. I still write constantly, but I also play the drums, make digital music, design and produce web videos, and run multiple blogs and comprehensive social media campaigns. What I'm saying here is: creativity is in my DNA. It's who I am.

Now, so very many years later, I've become a one-man branding machine. Marketing, advertising, in-house communications, print, web, mobile, multimedia — whatever it is you need — let me show you what I can do. I am open, honest and loyal beyond belief. You might be surprised how awesome it is to work with a dependable creative professional with the experience to prove it.

So don't hesitate to hit me up! Even if we don't end up working together, I'm happy to provide free advice and guidance for any of your creative projects. It's kinda funny, but sometimes I'll straight up tell potential clients they don't even need my services. Like, if they can handle something themselves, or if their budget is super tight and there's a much cheaper alternative, I'll point them in that direction. I'm always looking out for what's best for my clients because I genuinely want them to succeed. I think this is a big part of why they keep coming back to me.

Anyway, thank you for taking the time to check out my work. Have a glorious day and I look forward to hearing from you soon!
